Namba has several stations
The name Namba covers Nankai Namba, Osaka Metro Namba, Osaka-Namba on the Kintetsu and Hanshin lines, and JR Namba. They are connected on foot, but allow extra time with luggage.
- Nankai Namba: the most direct rail gateway for Kansai Airport.
- Midosuji Line: convenient for Shinsaibashi, Umeda and Shin-Osaka.
- Kintetsu and Hanshin: useful for Nara and Kobe.
Why stay south of Namba
South Namba connects Nipponbashi, Ebisucho, Shinsekai and Shin-Imamiya. It feels more residential than central Namba while keeping access to Nankai, JR and Osaka Metro lines.

Check your main station, group size and luggage before booking. Apartments suit families and groups, while compact rooms and hostels can be simpler for solo or short stays.
